Madrid, 3rd of April 2024.– Influence Spain ‘s core team continues to grow with the recent addition of Enrique Opi Tufet as Senior Adviser on tourism policy and cruise tourism in Catalonia and the Balearic Islands, with a special focus on Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca.
With a degree in Law and a Masters in Corporate Law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, Enrique has over 30 years of experience in Government Relations, Public Affairs, International and Corporate Law. Enrique’s extensive and diverse career has evolved over three decades, showcasing a remarkable journey in various professional domains. Over these 30 years he has worked with some of the leading companies in public affairs, government relations, and corporate law, initiating his career with Ogilvy Public Relations and Weber Shandwick in Brussels, and then taking on the role of Vice-President EMEA and Corporate Counsel for EPSON, where he was responsible for managing the multinationals Public Affairs, Corporate Communications, CSR, Legal and Human Resources Departments. Upon returning to Spain, he became the Government Relations Director for Catalonia and the Balearic Islands, with the ONCE Foundation.
While supporting InFluence Spain, Enrique will continue to focus on his other activities including advising World Mobile, a leader in the construction of community based blockchain based cellphone networks and as a professor at the Geneva Business School campus in Barcelona, where he imparts his knowledge to Master’s students. His syllabus includes Sustainability Management, Change and Crisis Management, and the International Growth of Companies.
Enrique’s incorporation into the InFluence Spain team, helps bolster the company’s presence in Catalonia and the Balearic Islands, increases its capacity to influence regional and municipal policy in these two regions, and reinforces its leadership in Public Affairs and Government Relations in the areas of tourism, and in particular cruise tourism.
