The InfluenceSpain team is made up of an extensive team of dedicated professionals led in Spain by Sebastián Mariz and Fernando Golmayo, who together offer nearly 50 years of experience in Government Relations, Public Affairs and Lobbying in Europe and Spain.

SebastiAn Mariz

Trilingual lobbyist, with experience in Spain and Brussels. Degree in economics and a master's degree in political science.

Before setting up his own government relations consultancy in Spain in 2000, Sebastián began his career in Brussels working for six years with some of the world’s leading agencies in the government relations and communication sector, including Hill & Knowlton PR / PA. During the last 25 years, Sebastián has advised companies, associations and organizations in almost all sectors of the economy. With a degree in economics and a master’s degree in European Policy and Environmental Management, Sebastián is Canadian and Spanish and has two children, Alexandra and Rodrigo. He is trilingual in English, French and Spanish. Currently he is co-owner and director at InFluenceSpain.


Lobbyist with 20 years of experience, lawyer, SMP by IE.

Licensed lawyer with a Master in senior management from the IE Business School. More than 10 years working in various international law firms, and 17 years managing government relations in Spain for several multinational companies including Wanadoo (France Telecom) and Microsoft, joining Influence Spain, as partner, in 2015.  Fernando is also co-founder of the ‘Association of Government Relations Professionals’ (APRI), of which he has been Vice President, Director of Programs and member of the board of directors, an activity that he combines with various professional and academic activities related to the area of Government Relations and Public Affairs.

With more than 15 years of professional experience before joining Influence Spain in 2021, Bernardo has worked as a legal adviser to companies (Siemens, Ernst & Young and Cear); as an Associate Director of Admissions and Business Development with Spain’s top business schools (IE Business School, Deusto Business School and Eude); and as a Headhunter in 360 Talent; while running his family asset management business. He holds a Law Degree from Deusto University, an MBA from IE, a Master in International Law from ISDE and a Master in European Politics and Governance from LSE, with a research thesis on Spanish-Cuban relations.

Natalia Pérez Mas

Account Executive & Social Media Manager. Journalist specialized in Public Affairs

Journalist specializing in multimedia content, new technologies and event organization. Natalia began her work experience in media, subsequently focusing on public affairs. She worked in the office of the Secretary of State for Communication, in the Prime Minister’s office. After that, she continued her work development in the Communication Directorate of the State holding company, SEPI, prior to joining InFluence / FIPRA Spain in May 2020. 

Natalia provides policy and media research support for all of InFluence / Fipra Spain’s clients. She is also the Social Media Manager of Influence Spain.

Eduardo Hernández-Aznar

Account Manager. Public Affairs and government relations professional

More than 15 years of experience in the fields of corporate diplomacy, investments, and government relations, 9 of them in Latin America with Spanish PR and PA firms, Llorente y Cuenca and Ostos y Sola. He started his career in 2006 in the Spanish region of Valencia, working on political communications as a communications consultant with ACH & Asociados.  He holds an Executive MBA at IE Business School and Bachelor of Information Sciences from the University of Alicante. Complementary studies at Westminster University and LSE (London, UK), University of Miami (USA). 

Since 2015 he reconciles his work in government relations with university teaching and is currently a professor of BBA (Bachelor in Business Administration) at the prestigious BARNA Management School.

More than 15 years of experience in project management in the fields of magazines, graphic design and advertising agencies with knowledge of national and international markets. Management of print purchases for large corporations, both by the client and the agency. Freelance writer. 15 years of teaching experience in a boutique company specialized in business classes.
