Before setting up his own government relations consultancy in Spain in 2000, Sebastián began his career in Brussels working for six years with some of the world’s leading agencies in the government relations and communication sector, including Hill & Knowlton PR / PA. During the last 25 years, Sebastián has advised companies, associations and organizations in almost all sectors of the economy. With a degree in economics and a master’s degree in European Policy and Environmental Management, Sebastián is Canadian and Spanish and has two children, Alexandra and Rodrigo. Enrique has over 30 years of experience in Government Relations, Public Affairs, International
and Corporate Law. Enrique’s extensive and diverse career has evolved over three decades,
showcasing a remarkable journey in various professional domains. Over these 30 years he has
worked with some of the leading companies in public affairs, government relations, and
corporate law, initiating his career with Ogilvy Public Relations and Weber Shandwick in Brussels,
and then taking on the role of Vice-President EMEA and Corporate Counsel for EPSON, where he
was responsible for managing the multinationals Public Affairs, Corporate Communications, CSR,
Legal and Human Resources Departments. Upon returning to Spain, he became the Government
Relations Director for Catalonia and the Balearic Islands, with the ONCE Foundation.

After an in-depth experience in European political affairs and foreign policy, Joel Rodríguez, a lawyer specialized in International Relations, arrives at InFluenceSpain to support our strategic vision, both, European and international. With a clear legal and strategic orientation in government issues also in Latin America, Joel has advised the Organization of American States (OAS) and the EU Delegation to the United Nations in Geneva, within the Department of International Security. He also had the opportunity to collaborate as a researcher at the University of Geneva.
In recent years, he has broadened his experience within the External Relations Directorate of the Council of the European Union as a legal assistant, strengthened his political analysis. His almost two years spent in Brussels, gave him the opportunity to build a strong network of contacts at the European level. Joel’s latest work experience has been in Spain, specifically as a legal and social policy assistant at the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration, which allowed him to get to know the Spanish public policy ecosystem.

Her stay in Brussels has allowed her to get to know European politics from the inside and to connect with several Spanish MEPs.
Lourdes also has experience within the digitalization sector and project management area; therefore, she joins InFluenceSpain to support in the monitoring of national and regional policies and some other issues of interest to our clients.
